the address below. Any of these preserves your rights.

TIMING: send this immediately, in parallel with your hearing request.
Do not wait for the footage before contesting; the 21-day contest
deadline runs regardless, and production of the recording can take
weeks. If the recording has not been produced by your scheduled
hearing date, tell the hearing coordinator in writing and ask that
the hearing be set after production.

Re: Public records request under Government Code section 7920.000 et seq.

To the City Clerk:

Under the California Public Records Act, Government Code section 7920.000
et seq., I request the following records:

1. All body-worn camera recordings from every officer present at the
   traffic stop that occurred on [date] at approximately [time] at or
   near [location], involving administrative citation no.
   [citation number], together with any dashboard camera or other
   video or audio recordings associated with the stop.

2. The complete citation record for administrative citation no.
   [citation number], including the citation itself, any officer notes,
   and any photographs.

3. The written hearing decision dated March 6, 2026 overturning an
   administrative citation issued under NBMC section 10.28.007 for
   vehicle noise, and all other written hearing decisions concerning
   administrative citations issued under NBMC section 10.28.007 from

preserved and not deleted or overwritten under any retention schedule
while this request and any related administrative proceeding are
